Checkpoint Charlie
This is the gate to go from the American sector to the Russian sector.
Until 1989 this was de gate from west-Berlin to east-Berlin and back. Checkpoint Charlie is in the "Friedrichstraße" placed.
Thisgate was for the tourists to go from the American sector to the Russian sector, and turned around.
After 1989, when the Berliner wall; was fallen. Checkpoint Charlie was demolished. Now it is build again an d therae are artists who plays a rol of the gards of HCeckpoint Charlie.
